Ferndale Suite Renovations
In March 2020, Our Angels had the profound honour of presenting Harrogate District Hospital with a generous cheque totalling £45,000. This significant contribution is dedicated to the comprehensive refurbishment of the Ferndale Suite within the maternity ward – a project close to our hearts.
We worked tirelessly to transform this space into a fully functional, medical facility, meticulously equipped to provide professional, comfortable, and compassionate care during the heart-wrenching experience of stillbirth. Years of careful planning, guided by insights from midwives and families who have walked this path before, have shaped the suite to meet every need and ensure practicality, peace and comfort in every detail.
The remarkable sum donated wasn’t solely the result of Our Angels’ efforts; it was a collective endeavour, fueled by families who embarked on extraordinary fundraising events in memory of their precious babies. Their unwavering commitment to supporting others facing similar challenges is truly inspiring.
Although the COVID-19 crisis forced a temporary pause in our renovation efforts, rest assured that work will resume promptly and diligently once it’s safe to do so.
Together, we remain steadfast in our mission to create a nurturing sanctuary where families can find solace and support during their darkest moments.
